First of all, I'd like to say this site is one of the best, if not the best correspondence chess playing site available! I love the automatic tournaments, the "thinking" feature on the chessboard that saves you from having to go to a different page/window to explore options, and many other features. QueenAlice rocks!

I just have a couple minor suggestions:

1) Forum search: it would be very nice to have the ability to search the forums (for example, to be able to see if anyone else has already suggested an improvement, etc.). Maybe a way could be found to allow google to index the forums, which could be then searched using google?

2) Would be nice if http://queenalice.com would redirect to http://www.queenalice.com or vice versa. Some links point to one or the other, giving the feeling of being logged in and not logged in at the same time...

and a few feature requests:

1) RSS feed for my games -- it would be nice to have a RSS feed available for use by other aggregators to notify how many games it's your move in, etc.

2) the ability to enter conditional moves (that can't be seen by your opponent) would be an awesome enhancement to have (i.e. if opponent makes move X, then automatically enter move Y for me).

3) The ability to add move-by-move annotations to your completed games. It could be especially interesting to have some of your games annotated by a stronger player.

4) The ability to preview your post before submitting it.

Finally, I'd just like to say thanks for all the hard work that went into making QueenAlice what it is today!!

Forum search: If you had searched the forums, you'd know this feature has been requested many times already. (What a Catch-22.)

RSS feed - Good idea. I use the Gmail Notifier to do this.

Conditional moves - Many of QueenAlice's competitors offer this feature; why doesn't it?

Annotations to completed games - This might be a little tricky to implement. On its own, such a feature would not be useful, but it could be combined with other features, such as allowing us to build a database of our completed games, all annotated.

Preview post - Yes.

That's the reason why I placed a link on the english and dutch wikipedia ;-) :-D

UPDATE: OK for some reason the links on wikipedia are already removed :-/

GeGo, I think they were removed because a Wikipedia editor (or administrator) thought they were spam.

If QueenAlice receives sufficient press coverage to meet Wikipedia's notability criteria, we could create a Wikipedia article on QueenAlice.

It seems that external links on wikipedia are forbidden. The links to redhotpawn and chessere are also removed from the correspondence chess page.

Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a link farm. Linking to queenalice.com or similar sites doesn't help anyone to understand what correspondence chess is so doesn't belong in an encyclopaedia.
