This is a software I have been using to diminish the chaos on my openings repertoire:
www.chesspositiontrainer.com
Thus far it has been an outstanding piece of software that has given me more than I would have ever expected.
After completing 100 games I will start putting everything together and formalizing my repertoire for over the board practice.
Two stupid moves that I never considered seriously before have entered my repertoire:
The move 6.Rg1 in the Najdorj and the move 12.Bf1 in the McCutheon It is curious how without the pressure over the board one can consider ideas that would have never happened...
There are many other things that I need to repair on my repertoire (My Sozin attack ) and some irregular variations in the Sicilian...

Could you give more information on this software? What does it do? It is free, isn't it?

It is free! The software allows you to enter a repertoire and train against it! For instance, you can enter the Yugoslav Attack in the Sicilian and train against the program to see how well you know the opening. It will give you statistics, etc. etc.

Thanks. Do you use it in conjunction with chessbase or did you get it because you don't have chessbase or chess assistant? Or am I comparing apples and oranges?

Or am I comparing apples and oranges? |
No, I am talking about bananas
I use it because I didn't have bookup (Another software program to train openings.) I use it in conjunction with SCID but enter each and every move by hand. That is, I have SCID open with the opening I am investigating and while researching lines I enter them in Chess Position Trainer by hand.

I'm talking about kumquats because I don't even know what SCID is.
