I was surfing through checkng the competition in the auto low tournament when i noticed a 1952 player amongst the contestants. How exactly is this possible, isn't there a cap worked into the program? I just thought it to be a little Unfair to lower rated players, and un gentleman like to even enter such a tournament knowing there is no competition. Just my opinion though .

He entered the tournament while he was rated under 1800 and then went on to win more games and got a rating increase.
The system doesn't enforce the rating range as strictly as it could, these are friendly tournaments after all. But I'm going to ask this player to leave and play on the advanced tournament.

I was not meaning to sound rude in my comment, jsut curious miguel. It seemed more like he figured out a flaw and was useing it to capitalize on lower rated players. And yes, it is all in good fun after all ,
and thank u for the response

Hi there, I think it is me, the player with over 1800 in the low tournament. But I'm playing chess in a advance beginner status. I've got this high ranking because I lost my first game against a strong player (in my opinion). NextFuture was the one. Then I entered a tournament and won 2 games against a 18xxp in cause of time win. Wait a view game results of my own and I think I'm under 1800. So please let me stay in low tournament.
