Is it possible to introduce a reminder, through email, when less than one day the expiration of a game misses it?

No, that would require the server to periodically monitor all active games, too expensive.
You get your notification email when it is your turn to move, that is enough to know you have pending games.

Actually, it wouldn't need polling. It could be done by maintaining a list of the games, each marked with the time by which the next move must be made. Every time a move is made, the game's entry in the list is updated and moved to the right place. Every half hour, say, send mails to all users who have games with between 23.5 and 24 hours to go.
Still maybe too expensive but much cheaper than periodically polling every game.
