But it still does not say much David. How the Groups going to be is clear, see the first post i made. But the Queen Alice server makes the parings random. It is possible that "The Boys from Brasil" are very unlucky with the drawing in the first two rounds and lower rated countries lucky. And there are still a few strong countries coming. (what about Iceland?)

The pairings are random in the first round, yes. But each of the Brazilian players is, so far, strongest in their group by some distance so would be expected to score 4/4 and win their group, whoever they play.
Anyway, this isn't a problem. I'm really looking forward to the start of the tournament, whoever wins it!

I would just add that I took seriously the invitation from Leo, and my way to express it was to mobilize the best players we can to play.
This is the way we honor the tourney. Of course, we also want to win, who don't, but no matter the result, let us do our best and have fun.
Iceland, please, give your best! What other countries? USA, where are you?
Lets hope this effort is a success, in all aspects, organizational, ethical, friendly, etc. And be an example to Miguel think about this feature in the near future.

Thats quite alright Beco, if I play, against who, lower or higher rated, I WANT TO WIN.
Unfortunally, just got a message from Gambitshark that he is to busy. Anyway, Iceland has another 4 players in the Tpo 150, all rated over 2200. Let,s just wait and see.
