Nowadays he's probably most famous because of the mysterious (to put it mildly) circumstances of his death. Then there's the Bay of Pigs, Cuban missile crisis, the famous "Ich bin ein Berliner" in West Berlin, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" and, on a lighter note, his marriage with Jacqueline and Marilyn Monroe singing happy birthday to him
