I know we all like Queen Alice site for many reason but one of the main reasons is it being free. One way we can keep it being free is to click once a day on a google ad ( at the top of your screen or the left side) by doing so migul will get something in the amount of $0.03 credited to his account. If we all do this say 500 member that $15. I don't know the costs of the site but they aren't going down as this site becomes more popular.

Thanks. What I recommend is that instead of clicking on random ads just to generate income, just take a moment and read the ads once in a while and click on any that you find interesting. Believe it or not there are a few that are worth visiting!

Thanks,

Miguel

I did not know you would get 3 cents!! This does not sound like much, but when getting hundreds per day doing this, adds up!!

I will take the time miguel to click on an ad or two each day, thanks for making this a GREAT place to play chess!!!

If you need a financial planner soon miguel, come talk to me :-)

Also, if you set up the site for paypal donations, i am sure there are a few players that would be kind enough to do so. I know that i myself wouldnt mind giving a few dollars here and there to keep this valuable resource avaliable. ;-)

Yes, I'm also looking into accepting donations through PayPal. It's really difficult for me to manage the growth of the site, doing the PayPal thing is important because it will help support better hosting that is required as more people join, but it is really boring from a programming point of view. I always prefer to spend the little time I have writing new stuff (hint: I'm hoping to get a new tournament style done in time to celebrate the first anniversary with a site wide tourney!).
