Tell me quote,s you like or not like. As long as the subject is chess. I start;
I love all positions. Give me a difficult positional game, I will play it. Give me a bad position, I will defend it. Openings, endgames, complicated positions, dull draws, I love them and will do my very best. But totally won positions I cannot stand
"Jan Hein Donner" dutch grandmaster

"The chess pieces are the block alphabet which shapes thoughts; and these thoughts, although making a visual design on the chess-board, express their beauty abstractly, like a poem... I have come to the personal conclusion that while all artists are not chess players, all chess players are artists"
Marcel Duchamp
