This is a nice and good question. I don't know how I would answer this question but I will try my best to answer it.
I like to be famous because I want you all to know me. I want you all to say to each other that you saw me when you meet me in the street, that you will say I did that when I did something, that you will mention my name to each other, that you will remember me in world history, that people of the next generation will know and remember me.
I hope that I answered your question why I want to be famous. Thank you for asking this nice and good question. Now, I hope you all that you will help me to be famous.

I'm sad to read that, Ray, it sounds so selfish and self-centered. There are many kinds of fame; Mother Theresa and Mahatma Gandhi, for instante, were famous people, but they never sought fame in itself, it was a consequence of their life and deeds. Hitler and Stalin were also famous, but for a completely different reason. They all will be remembered generations from now, but the feelings they will evoke are completely different. What do you want to be remembered for? Think of that.
