Does anyone else play this Opening? my favorite move in response is 3.Qe2 it forces Black to decide very early on what he wants to do.

Hello ghostpsychlops, my mentor says
there are worst ways to treat 2 -- Nf6.
He further states that as White your
main problems come from the 3 -- Bf5.
What do you play after: 1.e4 e5
2.Bc4 Nf6 3.Qe2 Bc5?
When my schedule is down to a very
manageable level, I will take Black,
and we can have a go at it if you
wish to do so.

1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Nf6 3.Qe2
(The normal move White usaully plays here is 3.d3)
Black answers Qe2 with Bc5 (that is probably what you meant since Bf5 is illegal it cannot be played since a black pawn is still on d7) BTW good reason to play the Bishop opening is to avoid Blacks Pet Petroff it's solid as a rock look at the Gm games from M-Tel tournament where white had a tough time finding some advantage :(
And now White aims to transpose to the Italian Opening example: 4.Nf3 Nc6 5.c3 d6 6.d3 Be6 7.Nbd2 a6
The move 3.Qe2 was actually played by an Estonian World Correspondence Champion in one his matches! Axelson Memorial correspondence tournament 1984-93 look up the game Oim-Morgado I think white won.
Sure I'd play an unrated game with you :)

Oops, my mentor shuns "UN"-rated
games---he says: "No points, No
play?" He also says I must play
only the Black side; when I am
forced to play White, I must open
1 a3 in all games [as in the QAc
