When you invite someone in a private tournament, the only way for that person to know I think, is he/she has to go check in his/her mailbox to see if he/she received a E-mail notification that he/she been invited to x tournament. Personnaly, when I created such a private tournament, I had to send countless remembers because they didn't even know they've been invited...
So in addition to E-mail notification, my request is to add a little star next to "my tournaments" in home section, and another one in the name of the tournament where the player received his invitation. I think this could help a great deal...
