Is their any way an outside user can get hold of our e-mail addresses through participation in QA? My service provider has been automatically updating my password, saying "a huge amount of spam e-mails have been sent" using my e-mail address. Just wondering - has anyone else had the same problem since joining QA?

I have not had that problem.

Your email address is not accessible to anyone, people or search engines, as it is never published on the site.

I've been atacched by a mountain of spam but not because i play in QA.I think Miguel is a good professional reserve very much confidential information.

To Miguel, to be aware of: I was reading on the FICS website that "certain ISPs treat e-mails from FICS as spam" and I can only guess that Hinet (local ISP here in Taiwan) also does so. Apparently AOL also treats FICS e-mails as spam; hope this is not a problem to too many members

Yes, but I'm pretty sure users have controls to override that and let those emails go through. If you ask your ISP they should tell you how to do that.
