Just to let everyone know that we have a potential 2700 in Canada now, he goes by the name of Mark Bluvhstein. He is rated 2525 and crushed Alexei Shirov yesterday with a double piece sacrifice, making the 2700 resign in just 23 moves!!! The final round is today, mark needs a win to take first place in the Canadian Open, I have never met him, but I wish him great luck!!

fascinating game, not sure if I can post it, so I wont just in case.... I am sure you can find it out there people quite easily at chess.ca

bluvshtein is the youngest GM in north america...i don't know why we don't promote him more...if they could find the funds for a charbonneau-christiansen match a couple of years ago (for champion v. champion) i imagine they could set up a bluvshtein-nakamura match relatively easily.
