Miguel:

You said you were looking into allowing more than 25 games to be downloaded, if I remember correctly. How about filtering games? For example, someone may want to download only those games he or she has lost, for study purposes. You might also consider whether or not you would want us to have this capability,re: others' games. For example, if I see that I am playing you in a tournament, and you are much better than I am, I may want to download your losses to try to find out your weaknesses. ;-)

Thanks,

Tom

Ok, sounds good to me. I added it to my list.

Filtering loses can be done in one's own database - most have the ability to do a sort by result. Besides, would you not want a record of all your games? I would (and have).

The suggestion to have the ability to download other's games is good - this would be a nice feature, not only for preparing for a particular opponent but for the ability to study how the strongest players here play.

What would also be GREAT would be to be able to search the WHOLE database of games based on the opening. If I'm studying, for example, QGA, I could search for those games (based on move order or ECO number or range, however Miguel could program it), and examine or download several (dozens? hundreds?) of games. Sure, we can do that with GM games on the Net, but they aren't going to make the same dumb mistakes I will, and so I won't see the consequences of those mistakes.

It would be nice to be able to further filter the games by the higher-rated player's rating. That is, if I want to study games that include at least one 2200+ player, I could do so. But that would be icing on the cake.
