if you like to play postal games there are the world correspondence chess federation www.iccf.com and your national http://ajec-echecs.org . I play in both federation,too!

I sometimes access the Internet from kiosks that block QueenAlice (mistaking it for an online game, presumably) but not Gmail. Perhaps there could be a way to submit moves through e-mail under such circumstances? This would be very difficult to implement, however.

how can your fide rating be 1710? doesn't FIDE start their ratings at 1800 ?
