A player shouldn't have to wait 7 days for their turn to pop up just to resign. Can you add a feature that allows resignation by each player whether it's their move or not?

This is humiliating. http://www.queenalice.com/game.php?id=564349

This is humiliating.

Quick! Turn the board round while he's not looking :-P

Anyway, a good idea. (Though I can't support your proposed new spelling for the game.)

But see:

OK. But some of those reasons make no sense when you can do it at gameknot. :-/

I don't understand the reason that Miguel wrote in these two topics about PGN format.

PGN of yielee's game should be something like this:

[Result "1-0"]

1. e4 c5 2. Qf3 b6 3. Bc4 Bb7 4. Qxf7# 1-0

And with the feature of abandon while opponent’s turn should be like this:

[Result "1-0"]

1. e4 c5 2. Qf3 b6 3. Bc4 Bb7 1-0

I have proved it with ChessBase and it has read the last game without problems. Maybe it's a question of programming. Now there's only one player by game that can change the state of the game, if this feature was implemented, then both players will be able to change it, and maybe this will mean problems, that will involve a lot of work.

It would be nice but waiting isn't that big of a deal. This site is pretty clean the way it is now; I don't want them doing too much to change it :-P
