Topic: Do you have sluggish spells were you make relatively few moves per week?

At one point I was playing 200 10d/a games. Now it is a stuggle to maintain 50 - 60 7d/m games. Do you go have spells were play internet chess seems more like a chore than a past time.
I am even begining to think tewald will get 2000 games before I do.

Look at CampbellMarcel these days. 67 games in progress, down from a peak of what, 1100?
Play at a rate that feels right and don't worry about the boasting rights.

The most I have had at any given point during my time here was less than 15 games, all of which were probably 7d/m.
I'm guessing this is already a dry spell in your mind, but anyway... I tend to slow down and take all my 7 days when I don't know what to play, so basically when I'm in a worse position.

I slow play when I don't have a plan yet. Usually I try to do the game planning for rthose ones on the weekend.
