Once he started showing his losses as well it got quite interesting. I like the never say die attitude, always finding couterplay even in lost positions.

Tryfon Gavriel recently finished 51st in the British Champ. with a +4 -5 =2. One of his draws was with IM Susan Lalic. His OTB rating is a little over 2100 and his rapid rating, oddly enough, is over 2200.

His videos for beginners leave something to be desired. I'm glad he never tried teaching me the game
