i have seen red chess on a site ( more than a year ago ) but cannot recall the site..it is classical chess but two randomly generated squares in ranks 3 to 6 are created at the start
of the game and the chess pieces are unable to
pass thru them or use them ( with the exception
that pawns may land on them )...i have heard it
used to be called blocked chess...does anyone recall seeing this variation and if so where.
