Of course I have no idea why anyone would play them execpt for shock value as a time advantage in an across the board game
Now 1.b3 that's an opening I can get into
Hey! I like 1.c3 and 1.b3! The Nimzo attack is quite sound! And 1.c3 is there to give strong support to the pawn at d4 (usually with e3 as well)

yes..i am doing 14 to life for using a pirc opening in 1995...

But what really annoy's me on this site is how people move out the queen too early (1.e4,c5 2.Qf3,e6 for example)

i bet those players are either starting to learn chess or have no basics just yet... just pick your opponents so you don't get these type of games :)
