That rule is actually more like a guideline. It definitely should be taken into consideration but it should not always be postulated. Kouvitch mentioned an excellent example.

Genius? Its so stupid man..Its mostly used on the server ICC in 1 minute games..Only tryin to beat opponet on time..it has nothing to do with real chess..
