I agree with phystutordotcom.
The histogram is the best way to see the actual distribution. But, to construct it, I think that we have to consider only established members, excluding provisional and unrated members from the histogram's database.

I'd be curious to see it too but I'm not sure it is something that is useful to a significant number of players, or even that they would be interested. Phys, why are you interested in it apart from mere curiosity? Do you believe it would show us something useful about the nature of the players that visit this site?

How standard deviations above the mean is the best idicator of my progress. If the average rating keeps going up then I am getting weaker if my rating remains constant. I also want to create a formula for converting between USCF ratings and QA ratings.
