I decided to anlyse all the games that I did not win after my 2000th game. This has slowed my rate of play considerably. Now that I am getting chess lessons from GM L. Yudasin, I annotate and print out the my games. I summarize the game before the first move to indicate its worthiness of recieving comments from Yudasin. I also try include questions.

How often do you analyse your games?

P.S. I cant afford lessons as I am unemployed. However I payed $80 for 1 month of classes. Classes meet twice a week. In 2 of 3 classes I have been the only student. I come prepared with questions to take full advantage.

I try to analyze all of my games the winners as well as the losers. By taking a detached look at both it helps to devise a scientific approach to the analysis of a give position. I try to pay close attention to the center, open files, play in the 7th and 8th ranks and of course the manufacturing of the treasured passed pawn. Of late I have been very interested in the retaking of piece or pawn that yields full compensation for the piece taken. In other words “conversion of advantages” Aron Nimzowitsch. Upon analyzes, I find many lost opportunities. To put it bluntly, blunders.

While teaching Chemistry I taught my students how to a quantitative analysis of a compound. A student asked, "How do you spell that." I replied, "t h a t."

My spelling errors are 50% typos and 50% I cant spell.
