Hey guys,
What about the option to see (in the browser itself) the PGN of the game when you click to view a single game.
Just to change the HISTORY format, to include the TAGS and it is done! One can easily copy-paste the PGN, for example, to save it or to paste it to your email program, whatever...
Is it simple to implement, at least... Found it nice?

On the right side bar you have a "Download PGN" link. If you associate the .pgn extension with notepad or your favorite text editor you can open the pgn directly by clicking there.

Dear Miguel, yes it have that... but it link to a http://www.queenalice.com/getpgn.php?id=xxxx and not to a text file *.txt, so my browser did not open it, nor I can see the pgn and copy-paste. The only choice is donwload it, save it to a file...
Unfortunately for me, I am having some problems when associations take place in my linux system, so it would be of great importance for me and for people who have not too much choices, if the browser show the text in a more easy way...
But maybe I am alone with this problem... Anyway, if that could be done, I will be very happy. For now, I use to copy and paste only the moves bellow the board in the History box.
Thanks your attention reading this feature.

What browser are you using? The URL is as you say, but once your browser sends the request the server responds sending a different file, and this new file has a .pgn extension. If you can associate .pgn with a text editor then it should work. It works with Firefox on Windows, I'm pretty sure it will work on Linux as well.

Hi Miguel,
I use Firefox 1.0.7 and Suse Linux. The problem is not the browser itself, but KDE (the graphical system) that integrate and communicate inter-process, like the browser sending the PGN to some text editor or whatelse.
I could fix it yet, there are something that erase the file associations as soon as I made it. Well... that is it.
--- BTW, I cant find where to get the PGN of a single game when viewing my friends games (not mines). Is there this option?
It would be so nice and easy just see plain text in the browser...
Thank you again, Beco
