If you want to play more than 50 games at once, you may create several new games like P. Bergmann is doing all the time. ;-)

Thanks for you tip. It is possible that some players did not know that it is possible to have more than 50 games if you use open games to generate them. I like to play a series of games dedicated to an opening variation or a type of endgame. For this purpose it is better to challange people directly. Sometimes there is not enough space in open games. Also it takes a while for people to select the positions I wantto practice. Initally it took a while to find players willing to play the positions I want to practice. Now that I have found these players challangeing them directly is faser than open games.

My problem is I also want to play in tournaments. I will have to wait untilo my total falls below 50 games. Then I can join 2 events. After I have signed up I can start another 50 quick games, G/10day, from positions I want to study. I hope to finish 50 quick games in about the same time it takes to finish 12 slow games and I repeat the process.

Players who stall delay this process.

Many players keep their total at 50 tournament games players who stall reduce the number of tournament they can play in per year.
