Not only would I love an Adroid / IOS App for my phone / tablet, I would pay for it!
You could make a free Ad sponsored one and a Pro version for $5. I would buy it.
I also think it would draw in new members. All of my generation and the generation to come are carrying mobile devices and rarely sit at a home PC or Laptop anynore. APP's are more user friendly on mobile devices then websites.
I personally do not like any of the other mobile Apps for Chess. They just don't have the same feel as QueenAlice. That being said I hope that if an APP is made that it keeps that same sort of theme as the website.
I think it is time for Queen Alice to enter the mobile age. So how about it Website Administrators?

I would be interested in an Android app too. Anyone with the suitable skills/time? Perhaps, that's the problem; few people have both.

I play at Alice on my Android browser when I'm not at home, but the other two sites where I play both have their own apps, which is much better. Not saying better sites, though. :-)

Let me retract that seeming endorsement of using the Android browser. I just had an opponent accept a draw offer I did not (purposely) make. Apparently, the browser picks up on my movements and checks off the draw offer without my knowing about it. This is the second time it happened, and both times - of course - were to lower-rated players that I had no desire for a draw with. I just removed the browser link to Alice from my phone. Guess I'll only play on Alice from home.

I think its obvious that the PC is dying. No one sits in front of one anymore unless they have to for work. I play from my tablet. But still Websites are just not user friendly enough for mobile users. Times are changing Queen Alice site administrators. The mobile generation needs an app.... Please :)

While I agree I'd like a mobile app for Queen Alice, I don't really consider myself a "no one", even though I spend all evening in front of my PC.
