This is a great site, a Blessing to those that keep it running !
It seems the only thing missing is team play. Is it possible to create team-play ?

It's in the works, as is user initiated tournaments... both at a slow pace though.

...i think that a ladder system would be better than teams...

Isn't ratings just like ladder. We all know where we stand.

It's like this Jpplay. Games are played according to your position on the ladder, you occupy a "rung" and can challenge a player 2 places higher than yourself. Example position 30 may challenge position 28.
A win for position 30 and he/she becomes position 28.Position 28 becomes 29 and so forth.

That system would take a long time to make it to the top playing correspondence chess. Plus with ratings you know how good the person really is. A very good player could be working there way up and just beating everyone easy.
