Somewhere back in the day someone did post on how to embed diagrams within posts, but I am afraid I have forgotten the explanation. You would just have to trawl through all the old forums (fora ?!) to find it ...

As for the game, I believe it was played in New York, not Montreal. The winner was Saloman A Langleben, a talented amateur who once drew with Steinitz in a simultaneous display!
