For me it's the "the lone wolf" as they call him, GM Alexander Morozevich. He is one of Russia's leading grandmasters and is often compared to Mikhail Tal. He is extraordinary even in everyday life and Kasparov himself might be envious of his thought development and direction.

But I really enjoy Kasparov, and how he play strong and aggressive. I like very much more Topalov, how he play unusual things...
And, I really enjoy Carlsen Magnus, how he sacrifice and let all pieces down...
So, my final answer is... Carlsen!

Shirov and Anand are my favorits...Before that was Kasparov but he is retired and before that Michail Tal was number 1. And for grand old days Aljekhin is my favorit genius.
I hope Shirov will get his super form again...
