Topic: Increase pgn download from 25 to 100 or higher

Dear Miguel,
Greetings, I would like to request if it is possible to increase the number of games for pgn download from current 25games to 100games or higher, this will help us and saves time on archiving our own games for analysis and collection.

The server can't handle that much work all at once, while the 100 game pgn file is generated all the other members that are using the site will see a big slow down.
Options that I'm considering is to make it work as a request, where you request the games you want and the server will then email them to you at a time when the load is low, or maybe letting you download all your games but in groups of 25.

It could be useful simply to have the possibility to select (with a check box?) the games U want to download ...

And some times we are interested in one single game of a player.
Today, you need to download 25 games, and "hope" that the game you want is in this set.
It would be very useful if you can "see" (visualize) the game you want, and there, beside the board, are an option to download this single game.
I am doing my second "manual" tournament here, and I need to download games from a lot of people.
The firt tournament was called "Torneio Rainha Alice I" (Queen Alice Tournament One, in portuguese), and had 16 players. The games was called (name) TRA-I-r2-j3 for tournament I, round 2, game (jogo) 3, and so on...
Now there are Torneio Rainha Alice II, and 24 players... Very difficult to manage to download only the tournaments games.

BTW, if bellow the board, the HISTORY window show the PGN instead of only the moves, one can just open a game he want to see, and there copy-and-past the PGN from Queen Alice to his computer.
The server will not have ANY increase of traffic! And you will be able to get PGN from single games just vizualizing it and copying the complete history window.
What I am doing right now it copy the moves in the history, and fulfilling manually all the PGN headers by myself. This is better than downloading 25 games you dont want.

Beco,
When you are looking at a game there is a link to download the complete pgn of it on the right side box, near the bottom. Did you see that link? You don't need to copy/paste from the move history.
