Does anyone know what happens if the section winner has been "disabled" and left QA? In Auto-Elite-20 (and maybe in other events, too) this has happened before the start of the second round. As the second-place finisher in the section, do I get to advance in his place? Has this happened to anyone else?

The "disabled" section winner will still advance to the next round, where all his games will be forfeited in due time.
Unless the site admin (Miguel) intervenes, you will not advance in his place.

Sounds reasonable...that way results in equal treatment for all who advance to the second round, provided they are all in the same second round section. By the way, I'm sorry but it is Auto-Elite-08, not Auto-Elite-20!

In this case and if Miguel is aware of the departure then it would be nice if he could disable this player so that we do not have to wait ages for the games Tournament to continue : )

The tournament rounds sometimes take so long that by the time round two comes around, some players have left. I've had that happen to me: The player hasn't been here for months, but won his/her section.As Duncan said, they advance anyway, and then you just wait for the game to expire.

Hi tewald! I'm not talking about just quitting the site; he was evicted by Miguel for unsportsmanlike behavior to his opponents. I guess the same thing applies here, as you say, and the other second-round competitors in that section just have to wait 7 days before claiming the games.
