I'm currently a proud participant in the AUTO-INT-83 tournament. Yeah, I know, who cares? Hey, if I win, I'll be the AUTO-INT-83 champion!
So here's a suggestion that might inject a bit of personality into automatic tournaments: random automatic tournament naming. Take two lists of words, List A being full of random adjectives, List B full of random nouns, select one from each, such that A + B = Tournament Name. That way, instead getting slaughtered in the AUTO-INT-83 tourney, I'll have been beaten in the Brilliant Orange Tournament of 2006!

Yeah, I like it too! And what about a kind of nouns for each tourment level? Famous chess players to advanced tourments, foods for beginer or another patter to identify each tourment level?

Names of greatest chess players (there are plenty of it, even if unknow by the most of people).
Names of beautifull places of the world.
Names of big mountains!
