Topic: Awarding Tournament Winners

Hey, Miguel, how about finding a way to award tournament winners?  You could create a hall of fame, or award extra rating points, or at least build a field in the player profile, showing his/her records as a tournament player... Just a treat for so much effort to win a tourney.
(sorry about not donating yet, but credit card debt is quite a common problem for me and last but not least, Brazilian currency is down to 46 cents of a Dollar...  )

I like the idea, but as many others that I have on my list adds burden on the server, as this will require at least one more database query to find out if you won any tournaments and then one more per tournament won. I have this in the plan, but first I'm working on getting lower resource usage, I'm actually about to switch to a new web server that I hope will give some improvement.
