Good day to my fellow Chessmates !!! I noticed QA is getting make over or changing new faces everytime I log in .There alots of new features and options,it seems getting complicated to see.I know we ( chessusers ) ask too many requests to Miguel & he's doing his job very well.May be QA looks great if remains simple but completes on details. This is only my opinion I hope I"M not offend anyone.Enjoy playing my fellow Chessmates . Good point. There are two issues here. I agree with you in showing the star when at least one hidden item has a star, I will do that. The other problem is that if you have everything collapsed you may not notice I added new menu options. May not be such a big deal since anything new that's worth looking at I announce in the proper forum.

It is really hard to do a balance between features and usability, I hope most people think this menu change goes in the right direction. At least works very well for me, I now only have 9 menu items visible (by collapsing preferences and help completely and leaving the others in their intermediate level).
I welcome all suggestions, and actually, this whole menu redesign started when Lounge7 made this very same point and started this thread.

And I appreciate it very much! Great work! I was collapsing everything but the homepage and the community menu. A very concise menu, now!
It took a while until I noticed that there are three states which I can access over the two new icons. I think this goes in the right direction, but I wonder if there is a possibility to show the user at first sight that there are not only two but three states. Maybe three icons? Or just one, which cycles through all states and changes it's appearence every time you click on it?
