Chess is complex game too many variations,gambits,sharp lines ,dull lines and etc....d4 0r e4 which one better ,for me its depends the way you play it and which one you comfortable / familliar game for you.The opening is the most difficult phase of the game to understand.The systems after 1 e4 e5 are a microcosm of the chess;you will find gambit lines.simplifying lines,dull lines,and drawing lines. That's I have read to my cookbooks,hehehehehe.Just have fun playing chess and don't worry about it & everything gonna be fine.

I like d4, it's my favor move.

I dislike d4 personally, because I tend to get bad results playing it. I specialize on e4 instead.
