I think it would be a great option to have a general chat and one more near the board if both players are online. Opinions?

Chats are both good and bad. I have played a lot on ICC and made many acqaintances there. It gets bothersome after a while when everyone you know are online and start talking to you when all you want to do is to play chess in piece and quiet. Of course it is nice to be able to chat with good chess friends but I think it should be put up as an option that one can disable at any time.
