Ballroom Dancing is like the Latin Dancing. If you know Latin Dance and I'm sure you know that is the Ballroom Dancing. Those are the Cha Cha, Salsa (Mambo), Rumba, Samba, Merengue, Tango, Jive (Boogie in Filipino, Lindy in American), Waltz, Two Steps (Country Dance), Quick Steps, Swing, Bolero and others.
These dance came from latin countries and the Filipinos are dancing these dances up to this time.

Ray: Si Bella Flores very active pa sa ballroom dancing. Kahapon lang guest siya sa isang morning show. Did you study under Chito feliciano? Cheers

Okay talaga yan si Bella Flores. Nasa Pilipinas pa ako kasama na yan ni Dolphy. No, I didn't study under Chito Feliciano. I just learned to dance by watching ballroon dancers how to dance. Besides I was watching the VHS Tape and DVD from the professional dancers.
I'm not a professional ballroom/latin dancer but I know how to dance all the ballroom/latin dancing. I can compete with the Amatuers like me and with the professionals.
The bottom line is I just like to dance.

OK I get it... thanks for the explanation...
Well, I enjoy seeing people dancing this kind of music. Very cool.
--- But I am not "able" to dance this kind of music... everybody would laugh ... At least I still can go to some techno/dance partys where all you got to do is jumping...

I had once perform a traditional dance name ZAPIN in front of His Majesty The Sultan of Brunei when we are celebrating His Majesty Birthday in 2005.
It was a very embarassing moment for me at that time to dance in front of hundreds people
Now, this year it would be my younger sister to dance in front of His Majesty.
Note:His Majesty Birthday falls on 15th JULY
