I guess Brazil lost because he did´t use the "young" and "trained" team... Brazil played several others "tournaments" before the World Cup with the other team...(and won all) Many "old" Stars deserve my gratitude... But there is a time for everyone to stop... I think the coach are too conservative for this "view"...
--- I can take as example Zidane... he is still young, and play very well... but "he knows" that for next "season" (at least for worldcup events) that his talent maybe would not be the same... --- Also Brazil had many stars trying to "break records"... To much "personal stuff" to me...
Besides all that many stars played "bad"...
Anyway, that is a game... sometimes you won... sometimes you lose... (And after all if Brazil win everytime it would lose the "magic")
The coach is important... Not only to train and build the team... But mostly to motivate it. As I see, there is two "fights" in any kind of sport, the phisical and the "mental" one... And I think that the "best" team is the one that have bouth...
As I know "Felipão" is a coach that are very good to work on the "mental" side of the competition... (As also a good coach on others skills)
Since he is Brazilian (the same coach that lead Brasil to the last WorldCup championship) and Portugal are "our" brothers, I will cheer for them...
