what about time limits for the games? I would suggest not using the days/move time limits, but rather the days/all structure. Eg: have the games finish after 30 or 60 days.
The tournaments tend to drag on waiting for one or two games to finish; if all the games finish after 30 or 60 days we avoid this.
We could add a 7 day time bank to give people some extra time if needed. There is always vacation time too. 30 days might be too much of a rush for some , but 60 days should be enough for most players. The better players are more likely to play longer games, but then they are probably better at faster time limits.
What do you think about the idea of G/60 days with a 7day time bank?
