i haven't read all the previous posts herein yet, and i'm afraid what i'll be talking here has been raised already.
nevertheless, in a short span of time i indulge playing here, i can now predict that QUEENALICE will become one of the most popular chess sites in the nearest future, if not NUMERO UNO!
now, because of this honest prediction, in a few months time, hundreds of thousands chess afficionados will flock in here, making MIGUEL's daily life definitely miserable. site administration will become undesirable messy.
various solution to imminent and inevitable growing population here will have to be instituted. the most effective one (which proved successful in other chess sites) is to create an elite group by way of classifying members into "paying" and "non-paying" members.
when that glorious time comes, as a return of gratitude, please let ALL PIONEER MEMBERS as of a given date be given HONORARY and HISTORICAL CITATION. i humbly suggest that there must be a permanent portion (or shall i say "thread") in this site's homepage which will proudly declare the "PIONEERS of QUEENALICE" listing all the members who have commenced in contributing to the enviable popularity of this site.
what's this all about....? alright, two years or so from now, innumerable members will surely dare ask the HISTORY of QUEENALICE, such as a) the first registered member (besides MIGUEL)? b) the first completed game? c) the first member who attained the first permanent rating? d) the first tournament winner? e) the first who posted in the "forum section"?, etc. IT WILL BE A GREAT PITY if nobody can answer the foregoing queries.
LET OUR HISTORY BE WRITTEN AND DOCUMENTED NOW! LET IT BE ENTOMBED IN THE WALLS OF QUEENALICE! ITS HISTORY WILL BECOME THE HOUSEHOLD TALKS OF CHESSPLAYERS WORLDWIDE...HISTORY IS IN THE MAKING!!!
someday, i'll be proud to be remembered as one of the "pioneer members" of QUEENALICE. i'll treasure it FOR LIFE...

Let's give all who join during the first year of the site the title of "pioneer member". The anniversary will be on June 4th, 2005. When the time comes I will setup a "history" page where all the names will be shown with a big THANK YOU, because if the site ever becomes as huge a success as you predict it will be mostly because of its pioneer members helping to define it and giving it character.
