Queen Alice is a terrific site that holds its own with the pay sites. Some of those with fees offer a lot of terrific features to paying members that are not found here, and I pay at two others.
I agree that the QA interface is clean and attractive.
I'm not comfortable, however, discussing other sites in a site's forum (and was kicked off one site for reasons never explained, but shortly after such a discussion). However, I've devoted a lot of time to my site reviews, and will be happy to discuss this site or any other in private messages.

i feel that Queenalice indeed is a terrific site and sometimes more attractive to other chess websites but maybe Miguel should change the style of the homepage as i feel it is not very attractive(but its quite OK though)...

I know QueenAlice is a free site. And it's an excellent free site. However, how do you think free players should be treated on pay sites?

I find this website far superior to all the other chess sites because, although it is completely free of charge, there are so many features in it that it is better than many of the paying sites and a lot easier to navigate in my humble opinion.
Moreover, there are so many players as "white knight" has said, that you can play any player at any level. All I can say about this site is: FANTASTIC, and would recommend it to everyone!

i think the simple feel of this site suits me well compared to the other sites which makes you dizzy just trying to figure out which icons to click. i've been to many chess sites and queenalice has topped them all not only because of its most user-friendly feel but the best customer service anyone can get even if its free... keep up the good work miguel.
