This could be a nice idea but there are problems here. First, Who is that best person to play the game against a team? When you find him, Is he willing to play the game? Second, Whose team is he going to play? The team who will play him will select the players and I'm sure that the team will select their best players. Third, Who will arrainge the game and how? Besides how are we going to watch the game?

The team could comprise all members of the site, each of whom will vote for a move. The most popular move will be played.
As for the best person, we could find him by soliciting the top players on the site.

The site will have to support such a feature, also I would imagine that all the discussions between members will have to be hidden from the opponent.
