Tewald,
I play the KID, Pirc, and KIA. Good idea to stay with these while you add/learn something else. The advantage is the positions are similar.

Among the Indian openings, which is least theorotical, and most positional?

Queen Indian and Nimzo Indian give often positional games. If you like positional play this two are not difficult to learn.

A question that still haunts me. I have switched my repertoire many times: from Gruenfeld to King's Indian. Presently I have settled with Nimzo-Indian and Queen's Gambit Slav variation. But if you like the French, then 1...e6 is a good choice, should WHite follow up with 2.e4 you get transposed into a French postion.

Between the Queen's Indian and Nimzo-Indian: 1. Which is less theorotical? 2. Which is more playable against flank openings?
