well kay, Im not a long time-member, but there is somethin one may realize pretty soon. There seem to be many players, who are about to claim a game because of "time expired" without sending a reminder. Actually I have no problem with that. But in my opinion it would be cool, to have have a number listed on "time expired" games, that indicates how many reminders had been sent before this game was claimed. For example somethin like "time expired after 2 reminders"

darkdawn: One can send only one reminder by now... actually, it's possible to send reminder even if time is not yet expired. So, if your opp has 2 days left(eg), you send him a reminder. Then, when his time is over, you did send him the reminder and he's taken no action, so you claim the game. :-)

I imagine it states in the rules that if you don't make a move within the time-limit the opposing player may claim the game. No excuses.

Hi fellows,
At first I used to send reminders on every game. Now I changed my way of thinking. If it is a friendly game that's ok, but in a tournament game, oh no, it isn't fair... time is part of the rules.

I always claim games without sending reminders.

I must say, I do too. If your opponent doesn't move, and isn't on vacation, then take the win. They can only blame themselves...
