Can you make a system of championship, with an open swiss tourney for qualification, then randomly divide the top 24 into groups of 6, then let them play double round robin, then let the top 2 from each group (total of 8 players) play 8 game knockout matches with each other, so that it is reduced to 4 players, and then they play knockout matches, so it is reduced to 2 players and then a final, of 10 games (five simul games at a time), so a Challenger is created. Then the Challenger plays the previous Champion, in a 12 game match, (6 simul games at a time), and the winner is Champion. The loser has to start from scratch.
