This is such a great site. The only thing i would like improved is the amount of vacation days a year. Is there any way to increase them to at least 50 per year. The tournaments usually are so long one needs more time. Any info appreciated.

To me this will reduce the acitvity...

but it keeps some of us from joining tournaments because we hate to lose by timing out, i personally go away 3 times a year for 3 weeks each time.

I really don't support this idea. The tournaments are usually long because the users take their hollidays.  (at least, it's what I see. Most of unfinished games in the tournaments I'm in are from players who took their entire(or almost entire!) hollidays...)

i agree that tournaments take way too much time, i think the timelimits should be reduced to 3 days per move.

In my opinion, a variant of Fischer time controls would be more applicable to the site and would solve most of the problems with timeouts
