I once had an opponent who, after an insignificant transposition, appeared to be copying my moves. But it ended soon enough so I'm sure it wasn't cheating but just a coincidence of us both wanting to play the same openings!

I am too for narrowly banded tournaments with 200 point ranges and wider selection of time controls (not just 7days/move).

the only reason i do not play here much is because i have little chance to have a fun game in the tournaments as the rating spread is so far apart...any chance in the future of having tournaments with only a 200 point spread ?

what does rating says about your opponent on this site?
<1500 have no clue what he is doing
1500<1800 have some clue of what he's doing
1800<2000 knows something about the game
>2000 yet to be seen :)
Rating system here is just terrible :(
I haven't played correspondence on other sites, so I don't know how things are elsewhere...
