Timman's a great player, yes. Some way behind Korchnoi, though.

Maybe, but he did beat Korchnoi in the semi-final and had to play Karpov for the World championship title, which was obviously one step too much. But as I told before, he was my idol. A agree with you that Victor Korchnoi deserved the title once. (in my opinion more then Boris Spassky)
