right now chevelle, most times distrubed, etc... heavy rock mostly.

It really says something about a player's chess style. Lately I like Lounge music, The Gentle People or Herb Alpert (for we oldsters!) but classical can be good too. When I'm on a roll (not lately, the competition has improved A LOT)I like old rock too

I listen to Stevie Ray Vaughn, classical and classic rock, some metal now and then. Mostly to drown out the voices in my head.
