Computers don't make mistakes! They only reproduce the logical mistakes that were in the minds of the programmers. :-P

I've made six or seven different chess playing programs, none of them have turned out to play very well. My most recent attempt was to try and create one that thought more like a human than a computer. The way it blundered was a lot more human :-(O) , and it was able to beat me (5min each games) if it found it's way out of the opening. Unfortunately I never got a chance to make it think better in the opening. (It was also a memory hog, it could only think for about 4 seconds with 64MB ram allocated)

Well, If you would like to play the computer, why don't you just download a chess game or just find on e on the internet? I could give you a couple of internet games where you play the computer and they are challenging for me sometimes.
